As part of the visit, Shishkarev held talks with executives of the MODENA Group, a diversified Indonesian corporation, to explore potential logistics projects. A key topic was cooperation between Delo Group and Mologiz, a MODENA subsidiary currently seeking international partners for a deep-water port project in South Sumatra province.
Shishkarev also participated in the Plenary Session of the 13th Russian-Indonesian Joint Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation. The Russian delegation was led by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. On the sidelines of the session, Shishkarev met with representatives from Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation and national port authorities.
“We had a very productive dialogue with the Ministry of Transportation and representatives of Indonesian transport companies. We intend to continue working on the possibility of establishing joint ventures,” said Shishkarev following the meetings.
To conclude his visit, Shishkarev toured Tanjung Priok, Indonesia’s largest port located in Jakarta. The port currently processes 7.8 million TEU annually—nearly half of the country’s total container throughput. Speaking at the plenary session earlier, the Delo Group founder expressed confidence in the port's potential to boost its capacity to 10–20 million TEU per year.
