The latest cohort from BFSU is training at the BFSU–Delo International Internship Center. In 2025, positive reviews from the first participants led to a larger intake than in previous years. For two months, linguistics and translation majors fluent in Russian gain hands-on experience at Delo Group companies. As before, each student follows a personalized program that covers transport-organization processes, attendance at meetings and conferences, and both oral and written translation tasks. They also update a Russian-Chinese logistics dictionary that is revised annually and passed on to the next cohort. The internship lets students apply their skills in a Russian transport-and-logistics firm and finish with a report and written evaluation.
Selection focused on each candidate’s motivation, internship expectations, and professional potential, with preference given to those who have never visited Russia.
“We see growing interest in this joint program, proving its value and relevance. Chinese students learn the specifics of the Russian market and immerse themselves in Russian culture as well. Delo Group is ready to foster their professional growth, which supports our goal of building a talent pool amid expanding Russia-China cooperation,” said Maria Kobzeva, Deputy Director General for Public Relations at Delo Group.
The BFSU–Delo Foreign Internship Center was created under a 2023 agreement signed in Beijing by Sergey Shishkarev, Chairman of Delo Group’s Board of Directors, and Jia Dezhong, President of BFSU. Each year, BFSU recommends students for internships, and Delo Group provides full support, including accommodation and meals in Russia.
The Group also works closely with leading Russian ‘maritime and transport’ universities and vocational schools, hosting career-guidance events, excursions, and lectures by its experts at both the institutions and its terminals. This approach builds a strong talent pool and strengthens the practical training of future industry specialists.
