Delo Group Publishes Consolidated Report on Sustainable Development
Delo Group of Companies has released its third consolidated sustainability report, highlighting its efforts towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Russia's national targets. The report details the Group’s key activities in sustainable development.
The Report outlines Group’s key achievements in primary directions of its sustainable growth. In 2024, Delo Group introduced an online carbon footprint calculator to evaluate the environmental impact of cargo transportation, continued to deploy energy-saving technologies and equipment at its terminals, and actively supported charity events and social programs for employees. In December of the same year, Sergey Shishkarev, Chairman of the Board of Directors, presented a corporate program focused on increasing fertility and supporting motherhood and childhood to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Additionally, he became a member of the Presidential Council for the Implementation of State Demographic and Family Policy. The Group continued initiatives to enhance urban environments and modernize port and logistics infrastructure in regions where it operates.
In 2024, they allocated more than 2 billion rubles to key sustainable development initiatives: over 1 billion rubles went to social guarantees for employees, 749 million rubles to labor protection, 395 million rubles to infrastructure investments in its regions, and 162 million rubles to environmental protection projects.
Delo Group also devised a Strategy for Sustainable Development until 2035, charting a path to maintain and enhance leadership in "green" logistics for improving competitiveness. The strategy outlines priorities, goals, and key indicators to assess progress. Moving forward, the Group plans to focus on enhancing management of the sustainable development agenda, increasing the use of renewable energy in its infrastructure facilities, and carrying out socially significant projects for its employees and society.
