Football club Chernomorets (Novorossiysk) has become the winner of the Russian Second League ahead of schedule and gained the right to enter the Russian First League, in which they will play in the season 2023/2024.Before that, FC Chernomorets played in the First League in the season 2011/2012.
Since September 2022, the team is supported by Delo Group companies under the initiative of Sergey Shishkarev, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delo Group. In October 2022, Konstantin Zyrianov became the club's head coach and started active work with the playing squad. With the new coach the team played 20 matches scoring 14 wins. Konstantin Zyryanov will continue to train the club next season at the new level.
The plan for FC Chernomorets is to reach the Premier League, the strongest division of the Russian football. In the next few years, Delo Group plans to build a new football stadium in Novorossiysk which will meet all the requirements of the Russian Premier League.
