On Friday, July 1st, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on awarding state awards for ensuring the successful training of athletes who have achieved high results at the 32nd Summer Olympic Games and the 16th Paralympic Summer Games in Tokyo.
Sergey Shishkarev, President of the Russian Handball Federation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delo Group, was awarded the Order of Honor.
Aleksey Alekseev, who headed Russia women’s national handball team at the Olympics, and is currently the head coach of HBC Astrakhanochka, was awarded the Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” of the 1st degree.
Artem Kryntsilov, doctor of the men’s national handball team and HBC CSKA, physician at the Federal Scientific and Clinical Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation under the Federal Medical-Biological Agency, was awarded the Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” of the 2nd degree.
